Compression Pistol Concept

The compression pistol super compresses ambient air with energy and contains it in a weak containment field. When fired the compression pulse is forced through the accelerator and is charged with energy, when this pulse impacts the containment field gives and releases the energized air resulting in a powerful shock wave that can send a full sized human male flying a few meters back with extensive internal injuries and light energy burns.
